It's crazy people would consider moving on JSL, and want to take a profit and a 'Mystery box' striker signing instead rather than one we have seen working and being competent. And that's without even mentioning the lack of like for like spending we are seeing with out goings and in goings.

I don't think anyone is being overly negative about Larsen, just many noting that they don't think he's worth £65m. I don't and I like him, but we also don't really play to his strengths. He's a focal point for us but he's not Raul or a Chris Wood type target and is much better with early crosses into the box or balls played into his run alongside him on the ground.

I think everyone who doesn't think he's worth £65m and would take that offer, either wouldn't because of the fear of not replacing him adequately or at the very least have concerns about doing so.

Assuming we have circa £20m for the second striker we do still need regardless, having that £20m and getting £65m for JSL, £15m for Silva and Hwang's/Silva's/JSL's wages off the books would be an extremely good kitty to buy two decent new front men. Not that they'd come here [so I appreciate it's moot point and also that's why you go abroad at higher risk] but that kitty would cover the fees and wages being talked about for a pair like Wissa and Hojland. Guessand and Ekitike were £100m albeit their wages would be higher and the chance of them joining even less, but selling Larsen for that inflated fee would give us many many options.
