The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Why do we need links to come out? To stop you, and others, pissing your pants so publicly?
Er, no. Because the transfer window is shutting soon. And when I say “links”, I mean “links with substance” rather than the usual bollocks.

I was only messing about with the ✍️ stuff earlier - please don’t be angry 😢

A left sided centre back back would be nice , but it's definitely not the top priority I would have thought .

We definitely need a left footed defender as a priority. Don't know a whole lot about this guy though.

Moretto says we’ve already agreed terms with the player. Down to the clubs now.

Nice. Hopefully we can reach an agreement quickly, lots of in and outs still to be decided between now and the end of the window.

If its a genuine link then this is when we need that RAN favour back from the City Group.

Give us a decent deal you shits

Yeah, that’s what I saw. Seems fairly injury prone - not ideal. Only slight comfort there is the longer periods out are 3-4 years ago.
Last couple of seasons are just little niggles really.
shouldn't be a concern

Was it €30m quoted? Quite a chunk for us to spend on a CB. That drops Toti to the bench then presumably and captaincy rotates to another member of leadership team?

So Jeff Shi.

I assume he isn’t on the list :(

We definitely needed another left footed player, we couldn't have Toti as the only player who could play that position. This also puts pressure on Agba because Krejci & Toti can then challenge for that central role as well. Agba was always going to start over Santi even if he's not performing, now he'll actually have to fight for his place. It makes the back 3 a real position of strength rather than one where it looked good when everyone's preferred back 3 were available but a bit ropey when you scratch beneath the surface.
