Maybe, but even taking things with the lens of the transfer window and it's half truths, rumours and smoke signals that we are privy too etc, it does feel like we are continuing to be the Premierships least attractive sister again.

Not sure many other teams have as many targets that are unsure or seem to be reluctant to sign.

I wouldn’t want to come here unless being offered big money.
Again the hierarchy have deluded themselves into thinking being a PL club is enough of a lure full stop.

I don't think the Spurs one is as comparable though. They signed Kudus which I think is a potentially great signing and you'd be confident they underperformed with the squad they had last year, plus are more likely to get additions this week.

I just feel like we constantly squander the advantage of the Prem, by trying to not operate within its usual wage structure or squad size.

Those two would be 6 new players in - assuming it happens , and we will hopefully move on Fabio as well and pick up a nice fee as well ( which would prove that the constant loans did work in the end ) . Guedes gone as well .
Uche is not a striker , so he's not going to provide a heap of goals . I'd would have preferred a striker to add to the list - let's not forget that the majority of our goals last season came from a combination of Cunha and JSL .

We havent hit 1.0 Xg yet over the 2 games combined, it's going to be a theme. For all the criticism of JSL the lack of creativity is a real concern for me, he's a good finisher but if there is nothing to finish...

We have no creativity in the team currently whatsoever, aside from whoever is playing up top with Munetsi and JSL (and sometimes that's Bellegarde!).

One player out of ten outfield.
