The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Is it maybe because you always think the worst possible scenario will happen regardless of what anyone else says?
I'm not sure why you've decided to aim loads & loads of personal digs at me recently, but if you could cut it out - that would be great. Despite disagreeing with you on some things, I've still 'liked' a number of your posts over the last few weeks, because I'm able to decipher between the poster and the point being made. It would be fantastic if you could extend the same courtesy.

My post above re; Vardy/Brownhill is clearly tongue in cheek. It's clear Fosun don't give a fuck about the homegrown quota! ;)

(Just got a gut feeling we'll buckle at anything close/over the £60m mark. I'm certainly not the only one)

JSL s goals last night have forced Newcastle to up their offer , and in one sense that's bad news for us , as they might end up at some mad 75 million eventually .
However , his goals have also shone a light to everyone at Wolves as to how important he is to us , in terms of staying in the Premier League . The cost of relegation is a lot more than 75 million .
If he is not pushing for a move , then I reckon he will stay . Another good season for him here and he will leave in Summer 26 - unless of course we finish in the top 4 !!

Pretty dispiriting if every decent player we get is looking for a move within 12 months now, pretty much scuppers any chance of building a really decent team again unless our recruitment is exceptional (it isn't)
Not a good look, is it?

Strand Larsen likely going and for more than he is worth. Cunha went for less, Ait Nouri went for less...we will probably end up with transfer outgoings on par with what should be expected from the sales of our three most productive players.

Fosun are happy.

Feeling enthused by last night still, especially the energy and tenaciousness after we went behind.

Made me feel better about our playing options, although of course whether the same performances can be replicated in an actual PL game with points at stake is another matter.

Less enthused about the last few days of the window; hope we don't do anything weird with JSL and we really need at least another body after Krejci through the door...
