Trump

you didn't reference one person you wished every single one of them dead.
If you can't see the double standard here, then I dunno what to say.
If you don't get that I meant Trump and the people who are behind his despicable policies that's on you. Its not fucking hard to understand.

"European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen has noted “a positive side effect” of the tariff uncertainty created by United States President Donald Trump: More world leaders want to do trade deals with the EU.
“I am currently having countless talks with heads of state and government around the world who want to work together with us on the new order,” von der Leyen said in an interview on Tuesday with German newspaper Die Zeit.
“Everyone is asking for more trade with Europe — and it's not just about economic ties. It is also about establishing common rules and it is about predictability,” she said, adding: “Europe can deliver that.”

Don't go throwing insults at me because of your inability to communicate well. And don't tell me what I should and shouldn't understand. If you want me to understand something, perhaps you should be clearer about what you say. If you cannot be clear, then don't be blaming others for any misunderstanding. Take ownership of your own words.

You said, very clearly, I wish them all dead. The key word is all.
If you meant you wished trump dead, then say that. Don't try to weasel your way out of it. Accept that you phrased something badly. Whether due to emotion or any other reason.

Personally, I think you did mean all of them when you typed that, not just one single person. Some other posts you have made approach a similar view. You seem to feel violence is an appropriate response.

What you said was very clear. You can either learn from this, and communicate better in future, or you can double down. But if you are going to be vague or unclear, people are going to point out that things you say appear inconsistent.

It's really unreasonable to blame others for your own shortcomings though. It's even more unreasonable to throw insults as a result.

At least someone stands to benefit from this bullshit. Maybe.

1. If Trump and the sycophants enabling him were all dead I wouldn't shed a tear, in fact I'd celebrate it. The same way I would have celebrated the death of Hitler, Goebbels, Goering, Eichmann, and any one of those Nazi fuckers. The world would have been better without them, just as the world would be better without Trump and his Nazi fuckers. I'll own that. And if the way to stop them is through violence, so be it. Because democracy spectacularly failed in the 1930s, and so far the signs that democracy will dissuade Trump are not good. Hitler would have been stopped early with the right response, let's not make that mistake again.

2. If you believe that saying that is the same thing as going onto social media and telling a person that you hope their child is murdered then yeah, I do think you have a problem understanding things.

3. I generally have a lot of time for you LJ and respect many of your posts. However, I'm not a big fan of the lecturing, patronising and condescending tone of this one. "Learn from this and communicate better in future"? Do me a favour, I'm not one of your students that you can talk down to like a child. Holier than thou much?

It must be nice to never, ever, ever be wrong
Oh there is plenty I've been wrong on. When I saw Nuno playing Coady as a CB in pre-season I thought we might have a manager who didn't have a clue. I thought we could easily replace Jota with Neto and not miss a beat. For a fleeting few weeks I thought Gary O'Neil might be an alright manager. I thought Bellegarde was absolute rubbish. I was wrong on all counts.

What I know with absolute 100% certainty from being politically aware and active for 40 years, is that the far right:
1. Do not give a fuck about democracy and the rule of law.
2. They are willing to use violence, intimidation, brutality, and lies to achieve their aims.
3. Trump's regime is absolutely far right in words and deeds.
4. They will do everything to prevent democratic methods from getting rid of them. Trump openly said as much in his campaign when he actually said "Don't worry, you won't need to vote again".
5. The opposition needs to wake up to this and wake up fast because it will be too late pretty fucking quickly.
6. T-shirts with funny slogans and selling quiche at a bake sale will not get rid of them.
7. Huge numbers of people on the streets in protest will. Maybe the weight of numbers will be enough. Maybe not, and those people protesting will need to prepare for violence because the fascists will use it.

It isn't what people want to believe, because we have been used to democracy being a solution. I'm not sure in this case it will be.

But you know what? I really, really hope I'm as wrong on this as I was on O'Neil.

Perhaps we all are wrong sometimes? You've accused me of always thinking I'm right. It's a message board, I respect people that have opinions, even if I don't agree with them rather than those who just post platitudes or the obvious. Say what you think.

If you have Facebook this is worth a read to see how absolutely fucked up things are.

I honestly think this ends in Civil War 2. It won't end peacefully.

“Militias are huge in America” is bullshit.

Obviously that doesn’t make the Menendez case less horrifying.

Posted on the official feed on twitter, it’s there I checked, they’re just a bunch of petty, whiney badtards aren’t theyIMG_2820.jpeg

The banality of evil. There's been hundreds sent there from the US. No one knows how many "deserve" to be there, as none have been charged with anything, let alone convicted, and sentenced. Some are known to have been sent there in error. And no one will be getting out of that place alive.

@Alan if you ever want to get the hell out of the US, there's probably a bunch of Wolves Forumers who'd give you a place to stay. Get out while you can, if you can.
