The bad results against this lot continues.

It was all a bit huff and puff today with some nice football being played occasionally but nothing effective in the final third. Verbruggen barely had a meaningful save to make all day.

JSL starting might have helped because Guedes was useless. RAN really needs to learn when to pass and not overplay, Doc's passing was poor, and Munetsi continued his ineffectiveness. Cunha tried but was also off his game today.

Brighton took their two main chances and will probably feel aggrieved with the offside decision, though you can see in today's modern fussy rules that it was probably correct.

MOTM - No-one really stood out. Andre maybe at a push.

Hopefully JSL can start next week against Palace as that'll be another tough game and we need him up front.

Don’t think there was much in it but we were carrying some bad attacking players and when we had presentable opportunities we failed to hit the target. They were gifted a penalty and then the late goal was a silly pass from Sarabia when we were maybe forcing it. Sa didn’t have a save to make but neither did Vebruggen really.

We were generally sloppy all over the park today. That should be the goodbye show for Guedes.
DOC, not in it at all, and Jaoa had a poor game by his standards.
Ran too showboaty first half, munetsi not really effective today, and the Cunha sub was spot on for me, I was looking for far more effort from him leading the line., went to pot after the pen.

Not a bad watch, but a poor performance really. We never looked like beating them and a number of below par performances. Brighton aren't a bad side, they're quick and well organised, but they are certainly nothing special and make the most out of alright but not outstanding players. If we are to show real progress they are the sort of team we should be beating next season, especially at home. It shows we have some way to go still, and we certainly made the most out of a run of games against the teams below us and around us. I thought we looked more dangerous against Man City than we did today.

Andre MOTM.

Brighton were just a better version of us today - more organised, quicker, and better in possession.

We definitely need more in the final third - without Cunha we lack flair - Sarabia gave us a bit of that when he came on.

Doc looked like he needed a rest, same maybe for Nelson and Joao wasn’t as effective as usual.

Andre, Agbadou and Toti all did well and RAN shows flashes of great, followed by flashes of self-indulgent greed. Definitely a player in there - hope we get to see it and he gives us another season.

Special mention for Munetsi again, who did nothing. Runs and runs. But contributes absolutely nothing. Great, if you like him - I’d just rather see someone that can actually play football in there.

Brighton are a good team. We played some good stuff at times too - but they definitely out-footballed us this afternoon.

Did you enjoy Guedes' 'contribution'?

Manager of the Month curse. Bet we lose every game till the end of the season now

In the Summer Wolves need another number 9 of some sort. Strand Larsen is the main man but when he is out you can't have chances like Guedes playing. Like playing with 10 men.

Have we ever beeten them in the PL? Genuine question.

In all seriousness, not a lot in it really, we lacked the intensity, never felt we would score. Meh.

I only view in the second period.

And view the problems of all time:

- No long passes, all actions try pass short. You guys use the tactic 5-3-2 but no one send a good long pass.
- Sa: is bad sending long balls, the most of that long balls are loseballs.
- Andre-Gomes: are similiar player, all time trying short pases and find other player in short position to pass, or pass back, no one up the head and find long passes. In some situations that short passes dont work.
- Semedo-RAN: play in one defense of 5, but never take good decisions they drible or short passes, don't make good long pases or good center on area.

By that you guys need buy players to made that long pases, better player maker and defensive wings. Need one good gk, know how send a long ball to a good direction. Need one good midfield, know how use long passes.
