womens world cup?

Super cross. The run is excellent as well. I can see more goals in this for both sides.

See, the defending though. And this isn't a comparison point, you have to do this. It's part of football. No pressure on the cross (a good ball) and no pressure on the header (a good finish). Imagine any team conceding that goal, even one you've played in. You'd go mental.

All the defensive chickens from previous games coming home to roost. England central defenders are poor, Millie Bright a big lump with no passing ability.

And I do think this sport is relevant. It isn't men's football, I don't compare it, however, it's England and that is enough.

Wow, and Alex Morgan simulation. Thought she had been shot there.

That's a load of bollocks.

What is?

You think women are exempt from stopping crosses? Or tracking markers?

It's a different game because of levels of pace and power. Fair. Not in terms of being organised, or concentrating, or being bothered to track someone.

England just need half time, reality is there’s a clear gulf at the moment. Agree the back four are a mess.

No :) I meant to dive from Morgan and subsequent yellow card.

Still in it at half time. We shall see what the second half brings I guess.

Sorry man.

As a game it isn't too bad (way better than the last game I watched, the last England game). There is ability there but tactically it's not great - this is probably on the managers - and I just don't understand how technically decent players (as they are) give the ball away so often for no reason. Like simple passes as well.

The defending on all three goals has been very poor although the England goal resulted from a class crossfield pass.

Ergh just love semi finals at least in this one we’ll be saved the pain of leading until deep into the game. Think this will end up 4-1.

Absolutely this - I’m watching so my daughter can see girls playing footy on tv.

They’re all so slow though.

And awful defending at the back post, 1-0

OOF..ive watched a lot of this competition and this is probaly the fastest game yet!.
Good job you didnt tune in during the group matches.

Don't get this yellow card stuff for elbows, if it's really an elbow it's a red surely.

Edit - what Paddy says. Good grief I agreed with Cyber yesterday and Paddy today.

So, England get yellow card for flailing hand. US now got away with two elbows. Just like Wambach in 2007.

To be honest, you are right.
Nearly all the teams seem to baffingly give the ball away multiple times a match, sometimes under no or very little pressure.
