it did seem to me it was more gallows humour from her about how ridiculous it would be to have defend the alleged party than piss taking the nation. but she is a horrible person. she should go obviously but looks more like someone taking the blame to protect mr useless.
 
Was gonna go to a gig on the 18th - capacity around 18k. Gonna skip that and shut myself in pretty much from next week until Christmas Eve, just to be on the safe side in terms of what I could bring with me when travelling, but no chance I'm repeating last year.

I will do my own risk assessment and will see my loved ones over Christmas as planned, not just Christmas Day. Fuck these lying cunts
 
I've been screwing all day, got a busy weekend planned at the club, needed to make a decision on ordering beer today.
Took the decision to go ahead and order what I was going to, regardless of what is announced I expect people will be out anyway.
Not sure how songs around the piano will go with facemasks though...
 
The only differences to now will be vaccine passports won't they under plan B? Shouldn't affect family Christmas?
 
You would think so, but if you want to create a “look over there” moment, limited household mixing would certainly do that.

The reason they won’t is the fact it will all be universally ignored now.
 
Tweaking the mask rules too, it sounds like, but as per usual trying to avoid actually matching policy with science.

Just make it really, really easy to get proper filtered masks, and emphasise ventilation in enclosed spaces! You've had nearly two years to do it and people are still walking around wearing homemade stuff and thinking that sitting two metres apart in a basement bar is any kind of protection, it's shocking.
