Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

The PM's spokesperson can not confirm that the man (Simon Case) investigating the party on 18th December, was himself at the party.

They won't look at the previous 2 parties where Johnson was apparently in attendance.

If this plot was in a drama it would be dismissed as too far fetched.

He is in the shit this time. Totally destroyed any hope of public trust and his MPs know it.

Plus the Speaker is definitely getting more confrontational with the Prime Minister and his constant attempts to ignore house protocols.

I don't know why THIS is what is causing him the most grief when he has done so many things in the past that you have to consider worse.

It's always a slow death with Tory leaders. They linger like a bad football manager, everyone knows they should go but for some reason there's a need to wait for the 10 game winless run.

I say he'll resign inside a year, he won't be defenestrated.

That's a shame, the crowds would be huge to see fat al chucked out a window

Starmer asked a very clever question about support of a met police and CPS investigation by handing over all government information on parties in Downing Street during lock down.

Not the one on 18th December that Alex claims no knowledge of but all parties. It is alleged he gave a speech at one, and there are reports of a Christmas quiz and also bang bang the witch is dead parties on the day Cummings was sacked.

I think anyone who accepted that the Covid rule of not mixing was justified as a measure to control the spread and stop hospitals getting overwhelmed is rightly extremely angry. If rules are justified it doesn’t seem unreasonable to expect those responsible for bringing them in to abide by them. That is then compounded by the fact that if further restrictions are required in the future they will be ignored by enough people to render them ineffective if they’re brought in by someone who has clearly been complicit in breaking previous rules. That in turn will lead to more people dying directly from Covid and indirectly from hospitals being unable to treat other patients.

If they announce Plan B today of all days the response is going to be a fairly resounding get fucked.

Especially as it's seemingly on a whim and done to provide a distraction.

It's so transparent it could be cling film. They openly said the new rules on masks etc would be reviewed after three weeks, it's barely been a week.

Wragg's comment will probably mean that it doesn't happen today.

Just want my local Tory MP, who has already voted against a 3 line whip twice, to be the one to make the first move.

A Tory will always get in down here regardless of what happens, but this one has some integrity.

Massive stab in the front from Douglas Ross. If Alex knew of the party and has misled parliament he absolutely must resign.

Apparently Carrie Antoinette was organising all these. She's such a cunt. Her only saving grace being that she'll milk Fat Al for everything come the inevitable divorce.

Hmmmm. Bit difficult for him to claim he had no knowledge of parties in a building where he lives and that were organised by his bloody wife!

It worked when he claimed he had no knowledge of who was paying for his wallpaper.

His own MPs have almost all hated him the whole time, they only tolerate him because he's popular (and keeps winning elections, most importantly).

We're two and a half years out from the next election already - if this is the thing that finally knocks them down below Labour in the polls, and they stay there consistently beyond the margin of error, then he's going to be given the knife as soon as the factions unite around a successor. Not sure who that'll be, mind. Sunak's the obvious rising star, but I could see someone like Jeremy Hunt being a Major-like compromise. (Incredible that Jeremy Hunt now comes across like the adult in the room.)

As Health Secretary Hunt was clearly doing Cameron and Osborne’s bidding and was deeply unpopular as people shot the messenger. Since leaving that role he as demonstrated he does have more integrity than most Tories and probably all of the current Cabinet, though the bar is lower than at the limbo Workd Championships.

Allegra Stratton has resigned.

Clearly demonstrating that she did not have the skills for the job in which she was employed in the video was pretty damning.

Ed Oldfield next?
