It's a great strike, not fantastic defending but the run and shift of the ball before the ball was Canvani like.

Let's give him his due , came on late in the game , got involved straight away and took his goal very well .
I still think he will very a very good goal scorer

I hate that as I watched it unfold I was practically screaming at him to lay it off to #20, despite knowing Fab would go on to score.

It will do him the world of good to get another stint as a full back/wing back...

Corbeanu to Blackpool along with a new four year deal.

Dull facts about Blackpool,
1. More beds there than the whole of Portugal.
2. Most public toilets in the UK, everywhere else calls them doorways, but still.

3. Has a 24 hour Karaoke bar that I backed out of singing System of a Down - Chop Suey in and hid in the toilet

On the face of it they're good moves for Corbeanu and Lonwijk (playing at levels where they haven't been before, unlike the reheated Giles/Sanderson moves which seem worthless to me) but as ever it comes down to playing time.

I still have a few doubts about Lonwijk physically, he's always looked a bit slight to me. Good footballer though.

If they play regularly they are both good loans. Big if there though.

I think the experience of Connor Ronan is playing into the Giles / Sanderson ones . Kind of like - keep trying , it'll eventually lead to something .
For every loan that works really well and raises the value of a player , there will be ones that fail . However one good loan that eventually creates a very good player could easily outweigh the cost of paying for all the others that don't .

I get what you're saying but Giles and Sanderson have already had those good loans.

No matter how well they do, their value won't increase from where it is now by sending them on yet another year in the Championship.

Agree with DW, but probably have a different view on how to use Giles and Sanderson - I'd have them on the bench / used in cups this year with that experience under their belts, especially given we don't have strength in depth and the ability to make 5 subs this year. Then if they can't cut it, sell next summer
