Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

It's carnage out there. Pure carnage.

The queue down the Wolverhampton Road is a good mile long. Maybe more. Goes right onto a mini-island by Bilbrook Station. Those who don't want fuel are losing patience and just piling through, from all four directions, so there'll be an accident soon enough.

Another win for Fat Al, what a great job he's doing. He had Covid you know.

Stafford Road is an absolute car park. The queue for the Texaco is blocking one lane right across the roundabout and nobody can get through. Fucking ridiculous.

All Boris needs to do is say the fuel panic buying is over and petrol stations are getting stocked up with special deliveries.

Even if none of it's true it would stop panic buying, which would have the desired effect

So they've announced their Reserve Tanker Fleet (where have they been hiding this?) will be out on the road today helping to refuel petrol stations, and will be driven by civilians (er, what?)

It's like a manager knowing at half time that his centre forward has a broken leg but waiting to the 60th minute to bring a sub on.

Saw a petrol tanker driving down the Cannock Road 45 minutes or so ago. A slew of cars driving behind it...

There's very little available round Cannock at all, I've had to go down the Toll road services to fill mine up as the wife is back on Friday and will need hers back

It’s £1.50 a litre for diesel on the Stafford Road now. Disgrace of a price.

The Texaco garage opposite me seems to have had petrol all last night and still has some this morning. Every time I’ve looked it’s been fairly busy but not big queues or anything. Hopefully it’s calming down now.

I paid 150.9 on Sunday at a 'mini' services just off the M6 near Preston.....that was for 'super' unleaded though

Maybe the price hike will deter people from buying fuel when they don’t actually need it and will serve to speed up a return to normality. Whether prices drop then remains to be seen.

doubt it. prices are likely to increase owing to the current demand and the scarcity issue t created. This in spite of the fact that prices should actually be coming down.

Walking the dog past our local garage this morning about 8.45, seems more or less back to normal, no queues, cars pulling in, filling up as usual.

1.369 I paid this week for diesel, not bad really as we only have 2 stations in town
