The keeper brings a calmness. Now he hasn’t really had anything to do, but him not being an absolute moron hasn’t led to the chaos that we normally get. This then helps the centre back pairing who look very calm and good on the ball and not the bomb scare we are used to. We’re still heavily reliant on set pieces the other way but being more solid is a starting point.
Brought one on now...Very true, gone from basically 4 bombscares in Sa, Agbadou, Toti and Mosquera to 0. Makes a big difference.
Especially as we don’t hold that much threat/speed on the breakJust don’t like him handing the initiative to the opposition like this. It’s basically him saying “yeah, we’re holding on now”.
