Our old chum Neil Moxley...

Quick glance at who’s written the article then move on.
No evidence of any wrong doing in this article even at the bottom it says we won’t breach fair play and a relationship with an agent is nothing new.
Sounds like other clubs desperation if it’s true, if we don’t go up the whining and questions will stop.

It's just Moxley with an axe to grind. And nothing to back it up whatsoever.

Let the whining continue they can fuck off. :emot-fuckoff:

"the money spent does not match up to the quality coming in" <---- Villa have this problem as well :smarmy:

The rules are set by them we abide to the letter, now they want to change the rules cus clubs like Wolves ain't suppoed to get anywhere.
They should stick to the "buying the league" insults.

Fucking hell! nobody gave a shit when Bouremouth went way over because it suited the top dogs in the PL.
Probably the big clubs stirring the pot because they dont want us and our money (and our potential massive income from China)
fucking up the status Quo.

Moxley himself doesn’t say anything negative. He states that wolves are absolutely fine. Just putting whoever had moaned at Villa’s quotes out there.

"A cluster of Championship clubs have voiced their dissatisfaction". I wonder who they are then?

The points of relevance are

"a number of clubs"
"a club official"

there is NO detail, which makes it stink of all coming directly from Moxley's pen, and the quotes are basically bollocks

I hope Jeff and Laurie go to the upcoming Football League meeting with that article and call the fuckers out. Armed of course with the spending by the (obvious) clubs responsible for the last few seasons

No direct quotes or sources and the journo himself says they're isn't really anything to answer.

I'm not even sure what the story is here, if that was homework it would have "please see me" written on it

This is also why I consider the daily mirror et al to be completely useless in terms of an information source.

There's no fact checking and it's usually the journos opinion rather than anything factual.

These types of newspapers aren't news, they're purely entertainment

Not sure how we can be in any trouble. It's true that Neves etc wouldn't have considered us without Mendes but we can offer whatever financial packages we want (within FFP). If it's not enough the player will say no. How can you say Wolves paid X for him so should pay him Y, presumably on the basis that one of our close neighbours is vastly over paying their (inferior) players? They should congratulate us for being clever and financially prudent.

The other thing the article might be implying is that we're using some sneaky method to pay wages on top of their official wages. But if we're doing that we deserve everything we get throw at us.

But we aren't, so it's fine, and Moxley gets some clicks on his article

Could be giving a huge bonus for promotion, that's not sneaky and well within the rules

Wolves now have their official Twitter feed in Spanish and Portuguese

Looks like the Cardiff game that was moved to Friday 6th April, is no longer listed to be covered by Sky TV, according to the Sky site.

https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/first-team/20180226-cardiff-fixture-brought-forward/

and the Derby game that Wolves said was moved to Wed 11th, Sky have down to be televised on Tuesday 10th at 1945hrs, the same time as the Villa v Cardiff game.

https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/first-team/20170301-more-sky-sports-coverage-in-april/

This is confusing, as you would think Wolves would know when their fixtures are to take place, in the case of the Derby game, and which are being televised.
It was only 26th Feb when they informed us of the Cardiff game and if Sky have deselected it should we move back to the original date of Saturday?

Its just the Sky site being wrong

The Derby game just says Tuesday and its not on TV (look underneath each fixture on that page and it says the Sky Channel it is on). So basically on that one, they have just put in the original date instead of moving it.
The whole of the weekend of games is missing when we play Cardiff, so they have just failed to up date their page correctly again
Also it shows the Reading game being on but has no Channel info. So right now probably just on there as they were meant to show it.

So Wolves have it correct and the peope at Sky are just shit.

Nothing has changed Dino, Sky just haven't updated their site properly

I'm hoping that's the case but they are showing it on two different pages

Ah well, let's hope this months fixtures are correct.

Apparently, of all clubs, Leeds, Villa and Derby are the ones who’ve complained.
