Their paths are supposed to intersect (Imelda is, thankfully, supposed to kind of bounce off of Florida and do almost a 180º and head East), which I guess in meteorological circles is colloquially referred to as "dancing", which is fucking sick IMO (dancing storms is really evocative to me) and also quite rare IIRC
