Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Surprised it wasn't more uncomfortable at work today - sat in site cabins which get pounded by the sun all day and no air conditioning but it was past 3pm before it was getting a bit clammy.

For me it's a lovely evening, sat in the garden and it's warm but not uncomfortable. Still got my top off and not at all cold

I want to like this weather, really I do because the idea of warm sunny days and being able to spend time outside is appealing, but it’s impossible with the way we are set up in the uk.

But what do you do? We have 11 months of grey drizzle and then a month of this. Weather in this country is fucking rubbish tbh.

I hit peak middle age earlier. I was moaning to the wife about being stuck in the office on a lovely day like this with overly powerful aircon blasting out all day - I then went outside after dinner to hang the washing out.

Whilst in the garden, I noticed that some inconsiderate youths are having a very loud garden party a few gardens further down with some terrible music blaring (it's Thursday night, Lynn!) so I tutted noisily to myself.

This country.

I’m ok with it, surprise surprise, I’d accept 10 months of dismal grey shite if we were guaranteed a couple of months of this a year but each to their own.

I'm okay with days like today: up here it was about 24° and a pleasant breeze. Even ran 7k at about 5pm without it being a chore. Tomorrow and Saturday are going to be 30°, so a different kettle of fish.

I'm playing golf on Sunday between 11am and 3pm.

Great time to be walking round outside for 4 and a half hours in 32 deg heat! 🥵
