Is Vitor Pereira A Good Manager Or Should He Go?

Jackson pisses me off, quickest player in the world (sic) but stood still to cross it in about 8 times today, then when we need him to have some pace for their winner, he's fucking running in treacle.
I'll pull up some screenies later if I have time, our defensive line for the winner is absolute chaos, then the keeper lets it just melt through him, it's not even a good finish.

Even that doesn't hold up though. Because Lage going "ok then" to signing Guedes when Nuno kept telling Jeff and Jorge to fuck off with that nonsense had a real lasting damage.

Not defending Vitor at all, Lage is a million times worse though, remember as well that when we appointed him he had a CV that wouldn't fill a page and he couldn't speak English properly.
I think you’re missing the point. Guedes was forced to wolves by Mendes. Lage had no say in the running of the club. He was a yes man. Don’t get me wrong Lage was a terrible manager. But sacking him and replacing him with someone competent solved the problem. Vitor has signed a load of trash from a shitty scout list with red stars next to them and then doesn’t fucking play them. Plus, he’s got to pick his own boss who we are now gonna have to sack as well. No manager, no director football, no good players. Expensive unsellable assets, Fucked.

In fact I'll do it now.

First up, look at the fucking state of this. In the immortal words of Graham Taylor, what sort of thing is happening here.

But all is not lost! Stand big, Sam, and you can save the day.

A shambles.

Yes, it's been disastrous.

But we went directly from Nuno to Lage, and I will argue long and hard that Lage's football, pound for pound, given the footballers he had that he simply inherited, is the worst I have ever seen. And if we're going deep into it, appointing that fucking clown is the very start of our inexorable decline over the course of this decade.

I have never been more miserable than watching Bruno Lage's football, I hate him and I hate everything he represents.

Yep, Rodrigo, Jackson, Bueno and Krejci all in the wrong positions, dire.

No leadership, no experience, no organisation.

Vitor was having a go back at the South Bank after the game. Which shows how he's lost the plot.
Strand Larsen tried to calm things- took balls to approach a toxic crowd imo, but repeatedly said "we need you".
Vitor was confrontational. I get that's him, but he made a bad situ worse.

All that is prior to a woeful team selection & amazingly making things worse with his subs. I mean the one straw was Hugo & rodrigo on the left & he bought fucking hwang on who was AWFUL.

I actually thought Bellegarde was our best player today, though the bar is obviously very low. Worked hard, took on players repeatedly, drove forward with the ball and brought other players into the game. He certainly looks much better playing centrally and deeper.

He was dreadful up until the equaliser but was ok after then. He did try at least to get the ball forward.

Not defending Hwang but that pair are fucking shit. Don't dress them up as positives, they aren't.
They were head and shoulders about Hwang and Wolfe. Bueno and Rodrigo at least offered something going forward, though they're almost invisible in any defensive capacity.

Hwang was absolutely appalling, there were no positives to his game at all.
