Keir Starmer at it again..

Fuck me.

The media in this country.
The Daily Mail ran with a headline that a child was turned away by the NHS due to him being privately educated. Further proof of the war on private schools by Labour.

Actual truth - the child was denied access to a health therapy scheme paid for by the local authority and only open to state ran schools..used to be open to everyone until the Conservative government changed it.

Not an ounce of fact checking - just a headline and angry comments.
even had Tories retweating and calling it a disgrace.

Labour should be pushing this narrative hard, try to make the mouth breathers understand that immigrants aren't all people who come across on boats which I'm sure many of them do think.

Britain and the economy need immigrants to function.

The idea that a guy with no government experience, no track record of achievement, and no clear plan was going to set us on a path to rapturous success was pretty magical, TBF. No different to Farage's snake oil tbh.

No government experience?

Neither did Blair, Starmer, Cameron, until they were elected!?

What record of achievement does any PM have?

He did have a clear plan, and we'd be in a lot better place now if he'd have won in 2017.

Comparing him to Farage is ridiculous, he is completely in it for himself and his cronies, hes corrupt as fuck.

Everyone you mention held a range of shadow cabinet positions before becoming leader. Corbyn had never held any shadow cabinet posts, had minimal select committee experience, and had zero involvement in actually passing any legislation, despite 40 years as a backbencher.

Hes a career politician whose political 'achievements' amount to gifting majorities to Theresa May and Boris fucking Johnson, while overseeing Labour being found guilty of institutional discrimination.

You'll forgive me if my opinion of him isnt great.

Shadow cabinet positions are not in government though are they!? By their nature.

Just seems an odd pick up.

Were Truss, Boris and Sunak better PMs because they'd held active government roles before they became PM?

I think, and i may be wrong, his historic, continual condemnation of Israel's conduct in Palestine effects your opinion.

His political career defines what makes him a terrible politician.

His historical tolerance for racism is what makes him a terrible person.

Jeremy Corbyn is as much yesterday's news as Isembard Brunel. This back and forth about him is beyond tiresome to read.

Any danger of taking it to PM or something?

There is an NFL thread and an F1 thread that I have never once posted on, I don't suggest people should post via PM, as that would be incredibly arrogant and ridiculous.

But you would be reasonable to suggest people talking about F1 would post in the F1 and people talking about Corbyn talk in the Corbyn thread?

I'm pointing out that what has been months of back and forth between yourself and TP on one side and Vis on the other on this subject is bloody painful. I would like to stress I am not apportioning blame on either side as views are entrenched and clearly passionately held.

It isn't arrogant to point out an ever-decreasing circle of the same points again and again is a painful read for every other poster on the site. So it isn't ridiculous either.

But you will obviously disagree, which is of course your right.

It isn't the same as "not posting on the F1 and NFL threads" is it? Just a cursory scan shows I have posted many times on this subject and various other current affairs threads, so I clearly have an interest in them. But I have to wade through this again and again so I am perfectly entitled to say if it is not great reading.
