Miami holding Porto to just the one goal for 50'+ is actually a hell of an achievement for them; that defense is atrocious.

Messi has been complete and utter wank in the first 40 mins of this Porto v Inter Miami game.

So after literally walking most of the first half, Messi scores a free kick from the edge of the box to give Miami a 2-1 lead after 55 mins. The fact it shouldn't have been a free kick is immaterial. Garber and his MLS chums will be delighted.

That's been his MO here as I would assume you know. Does absolutely nothing without the ball, then in the two seconds he has it, the old quality is still there. Mostly, anyway.

The ref cam addition is interesting and you can always trust the Americans to find a way to deliver advertising during any sort of game... over here they wait for substitutions and then do a split screen with the ad and the action. Clever fuckers.

He went largely that way after Pep left Barca tbf - all defensive action taken away from him but you know he's going to be magic when he's got the ball.
