Molineux Extension

A temporary stand in a corner and sorting out the ridiculous situation with getting into the Steve Bull is hardly going to mean we can't give the coaches improved deals.

It would be fairly pointless if we are shit because we lose Nuno and Sellars and turn into a lower middle team where gates fall. Expectations are high now. Sellars has been massive for the club and doesn't get the plaudits.

A temporary stand is exactly what we need, call it a proof of concept for capacity and demand if you like. Essentially it means we can see how the demand continues once we've spent more time in the prem.

Hopefully it won't be too "temporary" though and perhaps have a roof.....

Daytrippers (and Jinky) have to earn the right to be able to get regular tickets. So wear a poncho and accept your place I say...

Woooo even more chaos trying to get in.

One can hope it has a roof. Poncho didn't do much good against Spurs! But then as long as the tickets are cheaper I will keep going there...

And exactly what clues are there that any of this might be on the cards, temporary stand or otherwise? Absolutely none.

That's spot on, actually. I don't live too far from the new place and it might as well be plonked in the middle of a retail park, inbetween the pet food supermarket and the hardware store. Feel for them a bit, they've been taken for a proper ride by G&S.

Screw em,West Ham are one of the clubs and fans I really dislike, due to the whole we won the World Cup in 66 shite, and the whole West Ham style of football that they've played forever supposedly, really happy the porno dwarves are shafting them

Has Paddy hacked your account? :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Tbf it's worth remembering they've done what a lot of our lot would like Fosun to do - spunked a load of cash up the wall on big name signings without a clue how to make them work as a team, and have been in a constant mess because of it.

They've properly rinsed them though, they'll be making coin off the club for a long time yet due to the interest on the loans, let alone the rest of it.

Tim, Tim, Tim, Tim.

Us having 10k on a waiting list (which costs £0 to join) does not mean that if we added 10k seats over the summer, all those people would immediately be banging down the ticket office doors to get involved.

How big is the current waiting list at Old Trafford? If I want a ticket in the home areas on Saturday (I don't) then I'm 99.99% sure I could get one.

Indeed. I'm on the waiting list, but it would be a big old decision for me to actually buy a STH if given the chance this pre-season. The cost of travel from London being a major factor.

Have to be a member to be on the waiting list. Cost me twelve flipping quid

Did come with a free bib to be fair.

I'd probably not compare us with Utd, people on our waiting list are possibly more likely to actually want to go to a game than some random in East Angular who loves the reds.

This exactly! And the club know it (hence the slow down) they must be able to see that the majority of the 7k home tickets we sell per game and the 10k on the list are the same people!

Its a great marketing ploy though (people put themselves on cuz they read about it and think they need to but many many have little intention of buying a season ticket)...especially when they are announcing price increases.

I'd be delighted with ground improvements/new stands on the existing footprint, but please God no more than 45,000. 40,000 would be plenty.
