Rugby League Thread

I never get to watch the NRL, I should make more of an effort to but its never on at a good time.

Leigh should be favourites for it but you never know, would like Batley to sneak it!

A great start to England's RLWC campaign against a Samoan team with a fair share of talent and experience.

So err Leigh Centurions have had a name change to Leigh Leopards to celebrate coming back up to the super league, great name for an U8s team, not so sure on a SL team name, kit looks minging too

Tremendous first 30 minutes from England vs PNG yesterday. Well deserved win and on to the semi at The Emirates on Saturday. The Kiwis looked less than convincing in their QF win over Fiji.

Special mention to England's women WC side too.

Looking forward to being at Old Trafford on 19 November.

Off to see a game tomorrow. Local Toowoomba team which is basically second tier feeder team for the Bulldogs are playing Papua New Guinea. Really looking forward to it.

Sounds ace, not a particular fan of League, prefer Union but a chance round see top quality sport live and up close is always exciting.

Really enjoyed it. PNG Hunters were a very good side. At least two of their number were easily NRL standard.

Colossal downpour before kickoff. Insane amount of water fell from the sky in about ten minutes.
