Summer 2019 Transfer Thread

Can’t see Saiss going anywhere, he’s getting enough game time at the minute and his flexibility will be useful. If we make the Europa league he will play 20 games easily next year.

Ruddy might leave, depends how much we rate Norris. Ruddy might also like the ££££ he’s getting at the minute (we have him a new deal start of the year). New club = likely pay cut.

Everyone else has things covered really. Obviously need to sign Raul and someone else similar. Someone to play Jota’s role and then if we don’t fancy the other 3, sell them all and get a 5th forward. Plenty of depth.

If MGW will be loaned then we need 2 CMs. We also need a RWB and another CB.

I see lots of people calling for a rwb, don't think Nuno sees it that way, we've got 3 excellent choices at wing back, Jonny can do either side

A couple of forward players is a must, then cut our losses with Costa, traore as well as probably Cav who'll probably never be quite good enough. Also a midfielder to keep Moutinho on his toes as well as replacing anyone who decides to leave. Tierney would be good, would have us well stocked at wb. Like and believe it or not, Doc is integral to the way we set up at the moment and very reliable in the sense he's always fit and can run non stop for 90 mins twice a week. We should perhaps rather add a left sided one and let Jonny cover the right, than bloat the squad with another established specialist rwb.

A shout out for one of Tierney's temmates in Kristoffer Ajer as well. 20 yo cb, big lad, excellent on the ball, very composed and seemingly a natural a leader type. He has been very solid for the Norwegian national side, looks like he could develop into a top, top player.

+ had a £15M bid accepted for Zinchenko. Wing back is a must in this window IMO.

It has to be. Such a vital position to us and we are limited to the rotation we can do with just the 3.

One I'd love to see happen is Bruno Fernandes. Would be a huge fee but whatever they ask would be worth it. Bruno basically IS Sporting atm, he's carrying them single handedly this season.

I presume we have hugged it out with Sporting after the Rui stuff and no longer on the blacklist

Not going to be popular here.

Neves goes 110 mil
Traore Cav and Costa go for about 30 mil combined
Ruddy stays. He knows where his bread is buttered.
We spend about 70 mil on replacements
Its a win win as fosun make about 60 mil on the window and we sign 4 or 5 of Jorge's young and hungries

The catflap of a chairman has gone now hasn't he? Should be ok.

and my brain reminds me after posting we sent that lad we signed in January on loan to their B team. So all must be good again.

if anyone offers £110m for Neves I will be staggered. I doubt anyone would bid more than £40m for him right now.

We might be asking £100 m, but no one is going to pay that.

Suspect that Ruben is here for at least another year - he's young enough to wait for now and develop further. If we want to keep him longer term then the team as a whole has to continue improving as well.

Still valued the same as Grealish? :icon_wink:

Adama Traore will still be a Wolves player at the start of next season.

Then he'll be getting even less playing time than he is now. Which is annoying as I'll have to listen to the bloke behind me saying "this game is made for Traore" every single game.

€100m buyout and I'd expect them to hold any potential suitors to that.
