From my experience negative views have always been tolerated here when results are poor. Negative for the sake of being negative not so much…
Remind me, what results have we had since the season finished?

Generally get to the CL and then drop into the Europa and Last 16/QF's seems their general limit.
He has another 20 odd League appearances for them as well from his loan spell there
Did Lichens mention "since the season finished" ??Remind me, what results have we had since the season finished?
His stuff before playing 15 or so League games for Porto depends on how you view B teams. Obviously over here, B team is U23 football and not much proper experience gained but B teams in Europe play in the main leagues (bar top Division). So over 100 league appearances, just not top flight before becoming the back up keeper for Porto.Ta Kenny, really hoping he is a late bloomer gem they have unearthed. Or at worst a keep stop gap whilst they readdress the position.

Most people would classify the previous season as poor.Remind me, what results have we had since the season finished?

Not being snarky typically makes people more tolerable as well.
I can pretend Jose Sa is better than Rui Patricio if you like. I'm not that good an actor though.
Of course it is. If Wolves had just qualified for Europe, any negativity regarding changes would be met by people arguing that the club had earned the benefit of the doubt. Just as we all saw with Nuno and co for the first two thirds or so of this past season. But the 'negativity' (which I have no problem with) isn't related to the previous season, or results, which you initially said were requirements for tolerance on here.
It's related to changes the club have made (and in some cases related to rumours), changes that haven't even had any material outcome yet in terms of performances, style or points.

Besides the point and clearly not what I’m sayingAnd if you think that if Nuno had performed better last season and then been axed that more people would be backing the club's judgement (!), then I really don't know what to say...the reality is that the yearning for Nuno and his core of players (even the under-performing ones) would obviously be even stronger?!?

At some point though you have to move on.I've been watching us for 33 years, Nuno is the best manager I've ever seen us have by a mile, Rui is the best keeper I've ever seen us have, even better than Murray.
So of course there is going to be a reaction to us unilaterally chucking them both, especially as the replacements have sketchy (at best) CVs. It could work out and I could be worrying about nothing.
I would say the lack of respect to the best manager we've had since Stan Cullis is more troublesome.
