Newcastle sporting director Dan Ashworth put on gardening leave after telling the club he want to go to Man Utd. His contract locks him in till 2025 and the clubs haven't spoken yet...

Blues announce that Tony Mowbray requires medical treatment and will be stepping down from duties for a period of approx. 6-8 weeks. Mark Venus will take charge in the interim

That came as a surprise . Saw him interviewed a few weeks ago and he was in great form . Had them back up the table as well .

Always liked Mowbray's pragmatic approach .

The very best of luck to him in his recovery .

What happens to the Hive? Somebody could certainly use it as it’s a decent facility well looks it when you get the tube from Stanmore .
Spurs Women played there for a bit, would think it'd revert to local borough ownership and they'll lease it to someone like that. It's fine, it's just not in Barnet.

Oooo, it has a café...

They’ve got a long contract with Orient. And just paid quite a lot for the new pitch there

Could be an option for Arsenal ladies, it’s bigger than Boreham Wood I think the shared ground costs etc suit both parties though

A Phoenix London Wasps could make very good use of it but that’s probably a few years off.

Bayern away at Bochum (capacity 27k) presumably with HSV and Schalke at home is probably the reason
