The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2024/25

There will be sackcloth and ashes over here as they think the cup win has made him bomb proof for at least a season

How little they know Levy

seems a risk after the last appointment went so disastrously wrong.

Not a major one but from a club I follow closely.

Bala Town manager, Colin Caton, has resigned after 22 years in charge. Few promotions, couple of cup wins and 9 European adventures and no relegation.
Impressive run but seems all not good at Bala at the moment.
Difficult season last time out. They managed to get in to the top half at the split then proceeded to be shit and not win again. A few of their bigger players have left to join teams in England already.
FAW recently changed rules on academies and the licensing meaning the level awarded to Bala, despite a lot of investment, meant they could only have 2 age groups. That has led to them pulling out of the development leagues and now have no youth route to the first team.

Looking like Ruud gone from Leicester and will be replaced by a manager who has had as much success as he had in the PL - Russell Martin
Or not....Martin now set to take on the Rangers job

Leicester fans are delighted though they are questioning if Martin was first choice, who the hell is second with O'Neil and Dyche or keeping Ruud being possibilities

The comments are always gold.

If it's a choice between these two, then I'll go for Ancelotti, he's worked with some of the best players, even as an assistant at Madrid, & that must count for something

Great thinking brer. In fact go further and appoint Manchester United and England legend Steve McClaren, he's worked with even more over the years.

If GON fancied that gig he’ll be regretting his Masters sickie revelation now. Still a hot topic on the streets of Eston.
