The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2025/2026

Gutted Nuno has gone there. I imagine that’s them safe now, probably at our expense.

They've got an awful squad to be honest. Two shite keepers, Max Kilman playing every minute of every game (and he now looks even worse than he did for us), the slowest midfield in the world (including Ward-Prowse, who he signed and quickly ditched for Forest because he's rubbish), assorted ineffectual wide players, Paqueta who checked out two years ago and two 30+ year old strikers who can't get anywhere close to staying fit. There are very very few of their players who I'd want here, Bowen definitely, Wan-Bissaka maybe and then I'm struggling.

The fans despise the owners and are less shy about showing it than our fans are. The stadium is dreadful and actively hinders them when they're struggling.

I think they could still easily go. Nuno is a quality manager but he hasn't got much to work with there.

Wan-Bissaka maybe?! He’d instantly be our best defender.

Yeah, I don't particularly like him as a player though (and definitely not at the money he costs/has cost), more a reflection of us having a gaping hole where we used to have a RB.

In a free pick of "find us a RB/RWB, they don't have to play for West Ham" I wouldn't have him on a shortlist.

Obviously he’d cost money which rules him out if you’re including that in the criteria. Defensively he’s excellent and like Semedo good carrying the ball but a little lacking when it comes to doing something with it in the final third.

You forgot about KWP ;)

Arteta
Maresca
Farke
Andrews
Amorim
Postecoglou
Parker
Vitor (sad to say, but we could be on 6 losses out of 6 in a few hours, so he has to go here)

So many current PL managers I don't rate in the slightest, it's quite odd. Generally you can pick out 3 or 4 shitehawks, not nearly half the league.

Ironic that West Ham's only points this season came against Nuno's Forest
