JSL s goals last night have forced Newcastle to up their offer , and in one sense that's bad news for us , as they might end up at some mad 75 million eventually .
However , his goals have also shone a light to everyone at Wolves as to how important he is to us , in terms of staying in the Premier League . The cost of relegation is a lot more than 75 million .
If he is not pushing for a move , then I reckon he will stay . Another good season for him here and he will leave in Summer 26 - unless of course we finish in the top 4 !!

It doesn't really make financial sense to sell.

If we want to, we can pretty much nailed on sell him next summer for £40m.
All selling him now does is give us an extra £20m above but guarantees we get relegated. Why would you destroy our chances of staying up for just £20m?

And if he scores another 15 goals this season we'd still get £60m for him next summer!

I'm sure there is some excellent analogy about selling your roof for 2x it's value just as winter is about to start, or something.
