The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Looking at his YouTube highlights (I know, I know) - he does seem skilful and has a nice touch, but he also seems to be lacking in pace.

I think if there's a red flag it'd be why isn't he in Slovakia right now with the Spain U21 Euros squad?

It's Spain tbf; without knowing a damn thing about any of the kids they've called in, not hard to believe that the standard is just extraordinarily high for their U21s relative to others.

You know, if you want to be optimistic. Which we'd probably be justified in not wanting to be.

It doesn’t look like he’s ever had a call up to their under 21’s, but last season was his ‘breakthrough’ season, as in, involved with the first team.

I would say this is another Rodrigo/Lima style signing and wouldn’t be expecting an instant impact on the first team.

Agree that it would be silly to treat him like Djiga's been treated, but tbf Roddy and Lima were coming from "lower standard" leagues than this Fer kid would be.

To be fair Rodrigo featured in 25 PL games last season and the previous idiot in charge basically ignored him for months when he arrived. Not bad for a first season.

Lima was a bit different to that, clearly signed for 2 or even 3 years down the line.

Presumably he's behind Pablo Torre for that kind of role.

Torre is incredible but there are a lot of other forward players in that squad that I've never heard of.

Just playing devil's advocate anyway, I'd never heard of López before we were linked with him 🤣

No disrespect to the Primeira Liga & the Brasileiro Série B but it's not the same as breaking through in La Liga. Celta de Vigo are no mugs either, they qualified for the Europa League.

Is Fer any good?

He play few on the 2 team of celta one year, and next up to first team and play few games too.

Have good quality, dribble, run, pass, vision, and find spaces to score. Is too new on the league and its hard know the future.

But if you guys buy it to next seasson its many probably he dont play more on the Celta.

Another player good, its perfect to Semedo position its Juanlu Sanchez, max 17M £

Sevilla Made a lot good right wings: Ramos start playing in that position, Navas, and now this young player. He is sub 21 squad of spain.

That is normal, he dont play on Madrid o Barcelona, or Atletico or Athletic.

Celta have a lot good young players, and they join in Europa, and no one of they are in the sub 21.

Its like Morata and Aspas.

Morata have bad numbers assist and goals and play a lot in the main squad, Aspas are a lot years best scorer/assist on the league and dont call:

15º assistant on the league in the history, more assist than Modrid.
18º scorer on the league in the history, he is close than Villa, and not is st all time.
