Tottenham 1-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

With a bargain central midfield and central defence it’s a shame we’ve spafffed nigh on £100m on forwards nowhere close to playing.
And then there's Semedo.

But at least he's worked his way to looking better value.

What are we looking at for Nelson's fee. It was top loaded with add ons to take him north of a £Fabio fee..but I doubt we have hit many of those

It was £27m plus £3m of achievable targets and £7m of pie in the sky

Also only spent £5m on Sarabia, who while he hasn't been consistently brilliant, for that fee is an absolute steal.

Low fee, big wages. Nevertheless he’s getting better and better. You could see straight away he was an excellent footballer and he’s now delivering.

Even with the wages, when you consider how frequently he creates chances and provides assists, it is looking like money well spent now. If he could chip in with more goals then there would be no discussion, he would be outstanding value.

Would you rather Sarabia or Moutinho taking corners?!

Agree completely.

Just watched MOTD, it won't be mentioned because we won, but Kilman just watching Davies wander in front of him for a free header at the end is woeful defending

Massive presumption from him that Dawson (?) was winning the ball so switched off. As we know that is a big weakness of his

His concentration is definitely his biggest flaw (McTominay header another example), and it's not as if he is young and inexperienced anymore.
