Excellent away performance. Are we turning this away jinx around now?

Gomes absolutely brilliant today and an easy MOTM. Could and should have scored more to make the last 10 mins more relaxing but a great result.

Double over Chelsea, double over Spurs!

Not that i give a fuck, but i'd be furious with that performance as a Spurs fan, and their subs, they were shit.

A hell of a lot of that was down to how well we played and how we set up though.

We're a bloody nightmare to play against if you want to try and take the game to us.

What used to be known as an superb counter attacking performance (all transitions these days). Reminiscent of some of our displays under Nuno in that regard.

Continues the theory that we always seem to raise our game against the bigger clubs and have done ever since we go back in the Premier League.

Fully deserved. We were excellent throughout and could have had 4 or 5 easily.

Even ignoring the goals Joao Gomes was out of this world and Semedo wasn't far off him either. We restricted them to very few chances - Sa only made one serious save, of course Davies should have scored at the end but got nowhere near - and created plenty.

We're a good team.

Limited Spurs to a few half chances and thoroughly deserved the win. Neto superb but only one MOTM, even without his goals Gomes walked it. Otherwise 7s galore apart from Hwang.

We are a good team. And we are an exciting team. You rarely feel a game we have been in has been a bit dull.

Outstanding performance. If we'd beaten Brentford, we'd be 7th. Think about that. 7th. From a standing start of being a complete shambles at the start of the season. Well done GON and the boys... making us proud with an exciting brand of attacking football and some astute tactics. OK, so we can fully expect Sheff Utd to beat us next!

But back to the game... everyone played well except Hwang. The bite we have with Gomes and Lemina in midfield makes such a difference.

My only criticism was the fact we should have scored more. If that becomes the difference between us and Europe this season, we will rue this game. Not saying we deserve a European place next season but keep this rate of progress up and it might well be a possibility before too long.

Have a good weekend everyone! Much nicer feeling than last week.

The only cloud on our silver lining today is it helped Villa back into the top 4.....

Not wanting to dwell on the point, but imagine bringing Hojberg on for Maddison in the 85th minute when you are 2-1 down at home?

Brilliant result after a fantastic battling performance in an end to end game. Joao Gomes with a superb midfield performance alongside Lemina and the defence defended admirably against wave after wave of Spurs attacks. We could have scored far more than just the 2 too, Bellegarde really fluffed his lines in a perfect position which thankfully we didn't pay for, great spirit from the boys in red after a dreadful start to the 2nd half conceding in 30 seconds to Kulusevski, a player who always impresses me

Tough one; I don’t think he was particularly influential in the second half, but Højbjerg is a really odd replacement in that situation.
