Al, I don't write this because I want to try and talk you out of your feelings or minimise mental health but I think it'd be a really good idea if you can try and detatch yourself from the news for a few weeks. Stuff is bad and going to get worse, on a macro level. If you don't try dull down how it impacts you then it could do you some real damage. And unfortunately, the cost benefit analysis doesn't stack up - you can't change it, so try not to let it in. Maybe it's defeatist or selfish but at the end of the day that cunt's not going to give a shit about how you feel, so you've got to give yourself half a chance
