1. His contract for the duration of his loan.
2. His contract upon signing permanently. (which of course will have been outlined upon the drafting of his loan contract)
3. His contract today.

The deal for JSL was a permanent one in all but name from the day he left Celta. He didn't negotiate another deal in the interim, whatever increase he's had today is up from the deal he had from last summer.
