Wolves Loan Watch 2025/2026

I'm sure you can find compilations of Hugo and Hoever on loan from last season being 'ballers' too

He didn’t do anything spectacular last night (although his block was very good and saved an almost certain goal). His passing was neat and tidy, but not eye catching.

It was just a nice, solid display - which was pleasing to see.

Fucks sake there's some miserable bastards on here😀.The lads doing well on loan after we all thought we'd been stitched up paying 10m for a dud. He might just well turn out to be one for the future and this loan spell brings him on. He could of course just be at his level at in the SPL but I'd like to give him at least half a season before completely writing him off. At worst we might recoup a bit of cash if he stays at this level.

He's 23 in November, he might come good (I hope so) but he definitely isn't a "prospect" signing, or shouldn't have been, and certainly not at £10m and when we were badly short of adequate CHs (with Dawson pushed aside and Santi Bueno being slower than Das Boot).

Colin Lee tried pulling that one with 22 year old Robert Niestroj a quarter of a century ago and it was wrong then too.

Didn't sign him in January, Hobbs still here - we sign him this summer.
Hobbs gone, Vitor bins the plan to sign him.

In TWF tradition I hope he does well, if nothing else to cover off our £10m outlay on him.
Would be nice though to have a solid, steady option in the squad.

Is it a full season loan or is there a January window recall option? I hope it's the latter because we're an injury or two from being woefully short even in one of our best stocked positions.

Unless they paid us a fee (doubt it, they're pretty skint) then normally as standard the option is there to recall in January.

I doubt Vitor will change his mind that quickly though unless we're in a proper injury crisis.

Was complementary of him with my more detailed ‘review’ on the previous page, my friend.

Nobody is writing him off, but let’s no forget VP wrote him off for this season. Hopefully he can adapt and it’s good to see he’s had a steady start at Rangers.

Regardless of looking okay when I saw him at the weekend, I very much would have preferred the money to have been spent on someone ready for us from this season at cb, let alone January when it felt more of a concern.

I think you’ve possibly gone too early on that. Definitely something there.
I hope you’re right, but if he isn’t dominant in that league (which, again, is absolutely fucking shit) he’s got no chance here. Hopefully just having the consistency of play that comes with being first choice at the position will be enough to put him in a good place to show his level or grow to a higher one.

Doyle only on the bench for Birmingham's third biggest club.
