Think we’ll struggle in this one, Burnley are playing with a lot more pressing and intensity than they do traditionally and will be all over us if we start like we normally do. It’ll be 3-4-3 and safety first again from us. I’d start Fabio and Vitinha at least but I doubt we will.

Right, fair enough - if that warrants a starting place, why not, we’ve got nothing left really to play for (other than places I guess)

I suppose my point is that MGW’s not even that young any more. I just wonder what he’s got that we haven’t seen.

If we’re talking about him or Vitinha (I don’t think Vitinha is a 10, by the way) I think I’d rather see Vitinha based on his exceptional Portugal displays recently.

Well I want to play 4-2-3-1, we have 3 fit AMs/Forwards so MGW gets in by default.

He's 21, can you name many other 21 year olds playing in midfield in the PL? I'll help you get started with Foden, who appears to be a once in a generation talent...

MGW has never really had proper chance to show what he can do imo, 5 minutes here and there is not enough for any player, let alone a kid ( he's still only 21 isn't he?). For me I'd give him 3-4 games in what I consider is likely to be his best position (10). After that if Nuno still doesn't rate him..get rid

Jones has featured much more heavily than MGW in a much stronger team, and he's younger too.

So the answer is one player, who is already England class, was playing midfield in the PL yet MGW is no longer that young any more. Right!
