Phil Mickelson says he is "embarrassed and disappointed" after he putted a moving ball during the US Open.

It has taken him long enough to admit his mistake, but at least he has acknowledged the error of his ways.

I have backed DJ, purely because he's so consistent.

Paddy Power also have a few specials on there and "Tiger Woods to make the cut" was on there at evens so I threw a tenner on that.

Tiger has been solid so far. Excellent starts for Casey and Westwood. I laffed my tits off at course brutaliser DeChambeau taking seven on the first par five he encountered.

Not often you lose a ball in a Major when you see it down - not crying though - not a fan of power beating skill.

He did pretty much drive it. Incredibly unlucky to have it plug and disappear on landing or he'd have had a par at absolute worst.
