Wolves Academy Thread

We wouldn't - which is a shame as he's an academy graduate and we'd need to spend similar money to get a similar type of player with the record he has this season.

U18's have been stuffed 7-2 at home by Sunderland

Think it was a bunch of lads playing above their age in the main

Has Gomes leapfrogged him in the squad?
I think post him coming back he always has been. Assuming we will play with a back 3 then I'd have played them both. Nothing to learn or gain by rolling a past his best Boly out again in a dead rubber

Win a game to save your job?

I dont think he's there, but if he were would Boly instead of Mosquera or Gomes be the difference? Surely it'd be at the other end of the pitch. A 1-0/ 2-1 win isn't going to have an impact on how he's thought of inside or outside the club I wouldn't have thought

West brom lead 1-0 with a very lucky goal. I still can't quite work out what happened

I agree. But if he thinks Boly is better, he clearly does or he wouldn’t be playing for him, then he’s not going to take a risk and a player who hasn’t stood out in the U23s (I believe), if he isn’t even 100% sure he will be the manager next year.

It’s a half decent counter from them tbf. They take advantage of Bueno being caught up high but Marques is caught sleeping when the cross goes in and doesn’t anticipate the forward nipping in front of him.

I think the forward’s effort is deflected in by Marques but not sure how Sonergaard got lobbed by it.

Only watched second half. Very slow pace, bit like watching the first team. Campbell head shoulders the best player on the park

Looks a bit show pony to me, few times he's had the ball and tried to do too much instead of playing a simple pass.

It's been very Wolves so far, lots of the ball, some tidy passing but barely any threat. Lembikisa should've scored his chance but his first touch was poor.

That corner just now was a joke even by Wolves standards, took it short and ran it out for a goal kick.

Cundles delivery from the corners has been woeful. Got snow on them when they come down and easy pickings for the keeper

Bueno with a cracking goal for 2-1 before some pulis ball gets wba level with their second effort on goal.

No idea how they’ve managed to make it go to penalties. Team full of Podence’s up front. Disappointed by Cundle, expected him to dominate more at this level. Hodge has looked a better player.
