Can't see a thread anywhere on this, but it certainly needs one! The team is almost a given with only the front 3 up for any real debate...and I'd be happy with any of the options available. Costa to start with fresher legs maybe.

Oh and in the longest of long long shots...if anyone has a ticket, face value or free, please PM me...[emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

Would prefer us to go Cav - Jota - Costa up front but I think he will stick with Afobe ahead of Costa.

Some Blues fans are confident ahead of this game. We are apparently stumbling over the line (5 wins from 6, drew the other so yeah proper stumbling there) and Monk has made them look what they should be, a Top 6 team so are in a false position in the table (unlike others in the bottom 5)

If we beat Birmingham to get promoted it would be a dream come true. I would be over the moon tbh. It would literally make this season perfect.

Good luck making the top six with that kind of form.

Stay off the pitch for God's sake.

*HOODOO ALERT* We aren't very good at home against these.

They'll come looking for an upset I'm sure, Monk has improved the attitude there but it won't go far in the long term.

DW: My first ever Wolves game is in there too, what a crap game that was! 2000/1: L 0-1 (H)

Colin Lee's last game in charge. Also Robert Taylor's final appearance for us.

We got under 20k for a local derby which sums up how that season was going.

That rings a bell. Decent goal for them in what was otherwise a poor experience for the 13 year old me. Surprised I kept going, next game was a 1-0 loss to Albion as well!

Nah, Albion was a couple of months before that. Ryan Green got sent off earlier on and Darren Peacock had an absolute mare. Think it was Lee Hughes' only ever goal for Albion against us (a penalty after Peacock did his Des Walker vs Marc Overmars impression).

John Ward was in temporary charge after the Blues game and he won three out of four plus the FA Cup game at Forest where DJ had been appointed but didn't take charge of the team.

Edit: Unless you mean you didn't go again until we lost 1-0 to Albion a year or so later :icon_lol:

Not something I usually do for 12 noon games, but sod it, any pubs open in town beforehand?

The Sunbeam, the Moon (shudder) and the Litten are all normally open for breakfast, think the Hogs and the London normally open from 11 or so too, unless they've been told by the OB not to open then it should be business as usual.

Not bothering personally pre-match.

Ah no, I meant my next Wolves game. Took a whole year to return - December 2001 (longer than I realised).

My mate has selfishly decided to get married this weekend, in London. But due to expert planning, my train back to Brum doesn't leave til just after 2pm so I'll try to find a pub near Marylebone to watch it.

Stay off the pitch for God's sake.

Not a snowball's chance in hell if the result means we're up.

I just hope that Sky don't focus on the mouthbreathers who will just run up to the Steve Bull Lower to goad the Blues supporters. The last thing I want to see are things turning ugly when we should all be celebrating but after the way some of the 'fans' in the South Bank reacted during last season's fixture, I fear that the morons will spoil it for everyone else.

Because of this I hope nothing is settled on Sunday. Promotion Saturday night, win the league at Notlob would be my preference

Hell lets lose all the games until Sunderland whilst we're at it..

It's not got much character, but there is an actual sports bar in Marylebone station these days.

Ooh is there? Thanks for that. I don't care if it's got less character than Alan Curbishley, I just want somewhere to watch the game!

Walk down Marylebone Road to Baker Street. Opposite Baker Street tube on the Marylebone Road is a big pub called (I think) the Globe. Supposed to be decent for watching sports. Its about 15 mins walk from Marylebone, tops.
