Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

German driver shortages are for the reason our Government are trying to spin - deaths, retirements, Covid affecting tests. Ours are worse, because of Brexit. Comical to suggest otherwise. Inflation is hitting Europe because of costs out of China in terms of fob increases and container costs

There isn't really an argument, it boils down to "was Brexit a stupid idea", and the answer is quite obviously yes.

I don't think anyone could reasonably conclude otherwise.

It's not like that. I was against political centralisation (full stop) but at least a trade deal ' of sorts ' was viable.
I just see the Europe in terms of base economics a complete mess.
No credit to offer, No QE etc etc ... the age of consumerism is over and it will impact massively. The cycles have gone.
Wealth will remain stagnant until it is redistributed and we face the Corporates monopolising the supply of everything.
Those with homes and steady incomes are about to get the bill. Bring it on ..
We do not see a shift in favour of state/people we see a Corporatocracy.

Make post not based in fact, see post debunked, make further post which doesn't particularly relate to previous one about corporates and political centralisation... Textbook. Adama Troare's end product lets down his overall effectiveness to the side. That'll be the corporates and conglomerates that are to blame. It's a shite 21st Century Wolfie Smith pastiche

Germany didn't Brexit. They have been left trying to consider the £6 Billion shortfall left by us.
Throw in insane public spending to counter a virus Sweden didn't bother to and you get a shitstorm.
Contrast the two.
Consumerism is defunct. They are re-setting.

No it wasn't, and plenty of people said that in 2015/16. They just weren't listened to because y'know, buses about the NHS and stuff.

I completely agree.

The centralisation of political will is a moot subject and was badly explained. The message they failed to get across was that the EU club was governed by corporations not the will of the people. Govts are ruled by corporations. Freedom of movement was a corporate tool to raise profits with no regard that many worked for minimum wage paid low tax were entitled to public services ie health and schooling and put greater demand on already stretched services.

Now I am an ardent Socialist but I do not mistake the state as anything more than a bunch of shills subservient to the banks and corporations.

So it looks like he's planning on an early general election, wonder when it'll be. Labour really got to get their shit together now.

still struggling to understand the contradiction re vaccine passports. apparently the tories, and some people disagree with the infringement on civil liberties of asking people to "get papers out" to verify issues.
So assuming this means they are binning off their plans for enforced voter ID then yeah?

Equally, can't understand why there aren't more people angry about the voter ID issue, whereas there's a lot of anger about vaccine passports.

Voter ID stops "other" people voting

Vaccine passports stop "me" doing things I really want to do.

He would be unwise to do so. At least not immediately. The polls are not encouraging since the Afghan fuck up and removal of the UC uplift, not to mention the NI hike.

I'd say he'd be fucking mental to do so. Why would you risk throwing away an 80 seat majority, even if by some miracle you maintained it or made it bigger, it makes no difference.

Essentially at the minute, because he parachuted in a load of meatheads and supine chancers in 2019, he can never lose a Commons vote. Even if the legislation is palpable nonsense. You lose that power at your peril.

I think the bigger issue is that this is all too much like hard work for him, easier to make more money writing awful racist columns and shit 1-star reviewed books then make the odd unfunny speech here and there.

Ahh ok, saw a headline about an early election, reading more into it, seems by early it could be 2023.

Just having a look at Britain elects Twitter and their incompetence finally appears to be hitting their poll numbers slightly.

I think it's more likely that the NI rise will have upset people. "People" aren't bothered about their general incompetence, as the last couple of years has proven. But when you hit people in their pocket....

If there is a GE soon, I'd consider voting Labour instead of my usual Green Party. Purely to get this lumbering clown out of office.
