Alex Bourne on the James O'Brien show.

He had never sold any PPE or test tube vials before the pandemic.
He doesn't know why Hinpack were redacted from the contract in question.
He got Matt Hancocks telephone number from a neighbour.
He couldn't win a contract with the NHS as he hadn't got the accreditation and had to go through an intermediary.
His previous years sales were £250k - the contract was for £40m
His profitability for the contract was £0.

Nothing to see here.

Suspect the Cons will be more than happy to hand over the poisoned chalice given the state of the countries finances - but if there is a great re-set agenda to deliver it matters not what party takes control. Even Chuck Windsor alludes to globalisation and solutions that transcend national politics. I am firmly cynical of any government contracts regardless of who is in supposed charge and a wade through concerns over expenses and such like goes back years. Just don't mention Liverpool City Council eh ..

In fact Westminster has almost acted as a coalition in terms of delivering the global narrative, no more apparent when they laughed and joked when it came to a non-vote on extending their powers re Coronavirus. Starmer's only tool of attack appeared to be hindsight which explains why a disgusting Conservative Party hasn't really been rattled in the polls. They can't even call each out on paid work outside of Parliament because they would appear hypocritical. Westminster is a Pantomime in Clown World. Point scoring, squabbling and futility rules the Political Class but thankfully the buck stops at Westminster.

I can see his point it's just badly made using typically terrible language from a fairly deplorable human being.

We shouldn't be policing people's views but we should be making them know and his wider point is how far do we go with it?

What's to stop future governments adding to the list and making it impossible to think or hold views that are different to their own.

Wonder who's on the gear?

That's been rife for years.

Johnson is absolutely on the piss, all the time. That CBI speech (I use the term loosely) - off his trolley.

He was talking to the 6th formers at Alfie's school last week... The general opinion was "he's really good at NOT answering the questions you ask him"
