Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

A small minority, it was 48-52 and with the benefit of hindsight there's more people who regret voting Brexit than Remain.

If you delete all the votes of people who have died since summer 2016 then Remain wins quite easily. Assuming that everyone who has turned 18 since then would follow the patterns and beliefs of those a few years older than them (ie everyone under 30).

Point being there have been plenty of opportunities to vote for a party that says it wants to rejoin the EU, in their manifestos since Brexit and only parties that have said we won't rejoin have won elections since 2016.

So why hasn't a party that says they will rejoin the EU won an election since Brexit?

And I’m guessing by all your other posts on here, you’re the small minority?
I blocked you months ago, for being insufferable so any arguing against me will just be with yourself, I won’t see it
So you like talking and listening to yourself. Feel free.

Well only the Lib Dems have said that, and they tend to win 0 General Elections as a rule.

Plus it's a daft argument. How come no one who has said they'd ban the likes of Amazon paying £0 UK tax has won an election? Well there you go, conclusive proof that the British public are happy with that state of affairs.

He'll tell you Labour did in 2019. They didn't, they said they'd have a referendum on the options of the deal they'd negotiate or remain

Insufferable?

Pro workers rights.
Against exploitation of immigrants.
I don't blame immigrants for the problems in this country.
For nationalisation of utility companies.
For a dignant, well funded NHS.
For respecting democratic results.

I think it is only the last one that makes me Insufferable in your eyes.

The Labour Party said in their manifesto, that they wouldn't rejoin the EU, single market or Customs Union and that was clearly the Conservative and Reform policy too. If the Lib Dems had won, then you could rightly have said, that people voted for another referendum, but they got a very small percentage of the overall vote, so parties saying they wouldn't rejoin had far more votes than those who said they would like to rejoin.

But that ignores the fact that they don't blame Brexit for its failure, they blame the fact we haven't brexited enough. Don't get me wrong, I think we'd win of there was a referendum tomorrow, but that 55%-11% thing would be miles away from the result

The stat around further loosening ties with Europe only has 7% strongly agree so maybe not?

This is where the challenge is though

"But although public support exists for rejoining, Britons do not necessarily see the issue as a priority, with just 8% of Britons saying that Britain’s relationship with the EU is one of the most important issues currently facing the country."

I don't see any main party giving such an easy avenue of attack (for farage et al) when most people don't think it's that big of a deal

It’s the never being wrong in an argument, even when numerous people point out you’re wrong, you just go on and on and on and on and on about how you’re right and everyone else isn’t.
Thats insufferable over many pages.

Oh and I blocked you, so like I said I won’t see any of your replies or tagging, or quoting my posts, I only see them when I click the bit saying show ignored because some of the to and fro makes no sense unless you do.
Enjoy being insufferable in your replies THAT I WONT SEE

Right. But I didn't say that or anything close to that, so with respect, what kind of fucking argument is this.

Numerous people on here who are mostly Remainers you mean. Wrong in your eyes which is no problem. Brexit as a subject is finished for most people and that is a good thing.

Right. But I didn't say that or anything close to that, so with respect, what kind of fucking argument is this.

You didn't day it, I did. Remain has no mandate and any serious party that wants to get in to power knows that. It doesn't mean that the EU is all bad, it just means serious politicians have moved on and even Remainers like Starmer knew, he only gets in to power by not having another referendum, join the customs union or single market. That is the reality and to say differently is not acknowledging the reality in front of us.

Probably time for me to bow out of this discussion for now if we're at the point where you're openly agreeing with yourself and bizarrely ignoring everything that everyone else says.

I agree with the majority of the country and the the three parties that got the most votes in the last election. Brexit isn't on the agenda and that is a reality.
