It*s not bad though at putting a very positive slant on one of our legends.
There's similar postings on YouTube appeared about Ken Hibbitt and Alan Sunderland. Haven't seen them yet but waiting to see how Arsenal is pronounced by the computer voice.

I know there was something about Doog's character that has tarnished his memory, probably deservedly so, but tbh I don't recall what it was.

I did a superstars event with him, rachel heyho flint, martin cooper, hugh porter, and rachel gave him a right round of fucks. He wasn't very nice to his wife either.
He was my hero until i actually met and spent time with him, not a nice man at all.

Yes…I was on that walk from Dudley to Manchester and as the only one of the students old enough to drink I got to spend a few evenings in the bar with him. He was charming, charismatic, funny and it turns out very dodgy. I know other things about his financial scams too, things he got away with because he was The Doog. I never saw him play, didn’t start following Wolves until I was in my late teens so he was never a hero of mine…if he was, it would be even worse.

He was fund-raising for the 'Duncan Edwards Sports Medical Centre', a new facility for treating sports injuries to be built at Russells Hall Hospital, but the venture floundered, with most of the £90k raised absorbed by "expenses".
