General Wolves News

Terrific news knee injury needing surgery, don’t expect him back until February

Suspect you’re right about it being something of a sulk. That said, he was sitting close to us yesterday and seemed genuinely engaged and supportive for the whole match. He didn’t join in Bruno’s Barmy Army but that’s just picky.

Bollox.
Hope Raul can recover from his "fatigue"...

Weird as Bruno seemed to think all was ok yesterday, scan must have revealed something far serious.

How and why was he allowed to play on?
Didn't seem overly hampered as with a lot of players his size he looks naturally a bit ungainly. He would have scored a tap in if Podence had squared it as I think he was trying to do. Surprised me at the time that he didn't come back out

Gutting for the player, big move, Premier League debut, he'll be absolutely devastated.

From a club point of view, I think it changes expectations from potentially top half to lower mid table, looking over our shoulders

ACL injury it says on the Wolves website. Made of poppadoms! 😂

Let's hope that spurs Raul on to better things.

ACL likely to be 6-9 months minimum. He'll be lucky to pull the shirt on again this season.

ACL back for pre season then, just couldn’t right it
