Is Vitor Pereira A Good Manager Or Should He Go?

Its sad that West Spam have reportedly held talks with Nuno yet we now feel that the man is way out of our league. What a mess

Sadly the club is now a shadow of what it was even then when we were courting Lopetegui. Someone posted the team that Lop ended with the other week and when compared to the shower of shite we field now, his team would easily beat the current one

I think the crux of the issue is that previous seasons we've had a decent team with a piss poor manager.

Now we've got an awful team with a manager who hasn't performed anywhere for very long - I'm not certain if he's any good or not though.

The squad has no leadership or match winners and plenty of substandard footballers.

Changing the manager doesn't fix this, so it's a coin toss for me on if we replace or stick. I don't think it would make much difference.

Yep. That's exactly what I was getting at when I said Fosun and Jeff are the *main* issue here. Then all the other stuff contribute to the enormous mess we find ourselves in. The entire club needs a reset from top to bottom. Vitor and his performance as the manager of this football club are a huge issue, but you sack him & bring someone else in, until Fosun and Jeff go, it'll just be rinse/repeat. Look at the last 3-4 years as evidence.

Literally our only hope is a takeover before the end of the year.

The fact Vitor sanctioned nearly all this trash in the summer is another massive worry and one that shouldn't be overlooked either. I'm not giving Fosun an excuse here, but they would have been laughing all the way to the bank with the signings Vitor wanted.

I walked away from the leeds game with only 2 positives.
Our goal was a quality move. Shame about the rest of the match.
Despite the result, and the rumours, and the atmosphere in the ground, the players didn't give up, and continued to push for a goal.

However leaving your best player on the bench raises huge concerns.

It looks very much like Vitor doesn't have a clue at the minute, there is a functioning team within the squad, which is very average on the whole sprinkled with a few talented players who aren't getting used correctly I fear.

..........................SA
Tchatcho..Krejci..Mosquera....H.Bueno
...........................Andre
.......................J.Gomes
Lopez/Arias.......................R.Gomes
.....................Tolu.
.............Larsen

Forgive my spelling and positioning. R.Gomes can switch sides if Tchatch needs cover of course.

There has been a complete lack of pace in the wide areas which make us so easy to play against it's unreal.

Vitor is making mistakes every single game. We can all see it, it's not some magic formula we are missing. Basic team selection errors and odd substitutes/formation changes mid game aren't helping at all!

For me one good coach:
- Have multiple tactic and all player integrated on the team, and V.P. abuse same tactics and same players vs all teams.
- Use pre-seasson to test tactics players, and V.P. same tactic and same players.
- balanced tactic, and V.P. use ultradefensive tactic, all fw run down to defense.
- Made all player show the best (main and subs), V.P. made all show the worse of they.
- They have tactics to player attack, and rules, V.P. rules is pass to wings and back to gk, th gk send a long ball to rival.
- Trainning many things, passes, foults, corners, etc... V.P. players failing all pases.

You guys sign V.P. because the situation of the team the last season, but in normal situation during a summer market no one sign he.

And i dont like old Managers, nearing retirement they prefers a money fast, vs work all days. Like R.Benitez, is strange one pro coach, winner of many cups, made that strange movements on Celta, and next come one coach without experience turn to Europe League. Problem, now celta need pay the buyout clause during years.

The people don't understand the coach have a big influence in the transfers, this player come because seem the coach approved it...

Thought we were probably the better team tonight. I've every confidence Pereira will turn it around, we'll have 20 points plus come the half way point.

Been a shit start, no doubt, but don't see anyone doing any better. Keep Vitor as long as he now recognises André is his best player by a fucking furlong.

André improves every other club in the PL in my opinion, we're very lucky to have him - doubt he'll be around next season whatever happens.
