Israel-Palestine

China and Russia both supply Iran with weapons. Plus an overland method to get oil from Iran to China isn't actually that difficult, especially if Russia allow the trucks through their area. I'm amazed that there isn't a pipeline really.

Closing the straits of Hormuz isn't going to massively inconvenience the Chinese.
 
As @Alan says the support from China and Russia militarily towards Iran is more to do with a big enemy in common as opposed to agreed ideology.

I can't see trucks delivering anywhere near the volume that oil tankers would.

They won’t! Just like Ukraine needs ships on the Black Sea to deliver grain. Not only would road tankers take a tiny fraction of the amount that goes by sea there isn’t a fleet of thousands of road tankers available. Given the distance and terrain you’d also probably need about 1/4 of the contents of the tank to run the truck.

I suspect the lack of a pipeline has something to do with mountains and that until now the sea route is fine. It’s actually probably a good thing China relies on the sea route as it makes it less likely Iran will interrupt supplies.

Various geological factors come into play also high alkaline levels underground in parts of Central Asia can lead to corrosion, building above ground leaves them open to sabotage and other problems.

Doesn't necessarily have to be direct to China though. A pipeline to a dedicated terminal in the Gulf of Oman could work.

Israel discovering it’s harder to fight a war with a heavily armed country than unarmed civilians by the looks of it, so what was the point of it all?
 
In 2025 Israel has attacked Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, and Iran. But these other countries are why the Middle- East is unstable according the western governments and media.
 
Trump isn't the school bully. That is Netanyahu. Trump is the nutter kid who left school and is waiting outside the gates with a knife to deal with anyone who stands up to the bully.
 
Apparently no acknowledgement yet from netanyahu or the ayatollah, surprise surprise, have we been jaffa'd, again.
 
Yes I am completely sure that Iran would agree to a ceasefire that allows Israel 12 hours of free swings.

Does seem odd but presumably the cease fire applies to offensive actions and Iran can take defensive actions , not that they’ve seemingly done so with much success.
 
Having success against a military that outspends them by a factor of 30 per capita would be some achievement.
