Same happened with the dreadful apartheid system. It was.And what of the 99% of the support that comes from the US and will never be curtailed?

Yes. You won't get peace until Netanyahu and Hamas are permanently removed from the political scene.A Two State Solution' has a lot going for it, except for the fact that Israel and particularly Hamas don't want one.
i am not convinced that bombarding trump with images of starving/injured/emaciated non white children is going to have the outcome you hope it would. It makes zero sense. They're basically saing they'll "recognise Palestine" unless there's a sequence of events that leads to peace and a two-state solution, in which case everybody will "recognise Palestine".
It's pointless. He needs to work on Trump. Bombard him with images of dying children until he changes his stance. It's the only way.
I know "spamming the US president" shouldn't really be a strategy, but he's Donald Trump and normal politics doesn't work.
At the moment there's no state to recognise. It's a few square miles of rubble. Once Israel gets bored of smashing big lumps of rubble into ever smaller lumps of rubble and a non Hamas government emerges then recognition can, and should happen. Right now it would be an empty gesture. It makes zero sense. A Palestinian state would be more than just Gaza. The ever increasing number of settlements in the West Bank probably mean it will never happen in most of our lifetimes. At the moment there's no state to recognise. It's a few square miles of rubble. Maybe you could suggest to the Americans that 9/11 was a legitimate response to US foreign policy. Let me know how you get on.It's not just rubble Israel are smashing; waiting for them to get "bored" with mass murder is complicity.
The idea that Hamas formed in a vacuum and not as a result of Israel's decades-long policy of murder, forced eviction, and kidnapping (without even trying to pretend that anything like due process was involved) needs to die. To pretend that Hamas are the original aggressor is simply not aligned with reality.
If you say Hamas shouldn't exist (they shouldn't), you must also grapple with Israel's history of terrorism/genocide in Gaza that precedes Hamas by 40 years, beginning with the Nakba of 1948, the same year Israel declared its sovereignty.
Israel has been a malicious belligerent from inception.
I could and I have.Maybe you could suggest to the Americans that 9/11 was a legitimate response to US foreign policy. Let me know how you get on.
I can see Lammy leaning into this argument very heavily. There's no complicity if there's no course of action that would stop it. Nobody has a solution that they're choosing not to deploy.
Mass murder is a choice.I could and I have.
Terrorism is a response to power imbalances on a global scale, usually when the imbalance results in absolutely deplorable acts by the holder of power against those who become radicalized by it.
An attack like 9/11 does not happen because someone is pissed for no reason.
