Olympiacos FC (A) 12/03/20 - Following Nuno, Drinking The Ouzo

I've not bought my ticket for next week yet on the basis that I don't think it will go ahead, especially with supporters.

Got mine some time back - if they close it off then will have to argue with the hotel as have a (in theory) non cancellable deal.

Personally got mine as if its off Wolves will refund quick enough I'd guess.
Yep this one will be a refund basis. It's the League games and STH's that will cause the nightmares for the clubs

If league games are played behind closed doors can't see how they can do anything but a pro rata refund to STH's. If its postponed then valid for when its postponed till.

That's fine for Prem teams but lower league teams will be destroyed if they have to refund.

If we do the behind closed door options and Wolves decide to refund I would they just discounted that amount from next years ticket (or make that 1 of a couple of options)

One of the main reasons they should go for postponement over playing behind closed doors!

I'm sure they'd make that some sort of option (Sure they'd use that to deflect ANOTHER inflation busting price increase come the summer though).

Still going to be dire for the lower leagues, they rely on walk up sales to a large extent (they often do season tickets as more or less loss leaders, not uncommon to see deals of £150 for the year or whatever while it's £20+ on the door).

They get hit if we have a bad winter and they lose a number of games in succession. Carlisle got in a mess when Brunton Park got flooded and was out of use for a couple of months.

They don't 'have' to give money back under force majeure, although to not do so would be terrible PR

Agree but surely its the best of a few very bad options left.

Hasn't Bozzo Boris promised some sort of help to other entertainment industry (concerts etc) maybe some of that needs to find its way to lower league clubs.

The PL has enough money to share a bit more out lower down in these circumstances - they probably won't though

I'm not even a STH so wouldn't lose out at all but I'll tell you this now, if the club used some legal loophole to rip off STH's and not give them the pro rata refunds for games they've not been able to attend I'd never set foot in Molineux under this regime again.

Would be a proper scumbag trick that.

Well (ignoring the current situation) given that if you sell it back to the club they only offer half value of a single game (& that in ticket cash so you can only reuse it back with them) then I don't expect much back if that happens.

I suppose the difference there is if you can't make it because you have other commitments, that's your problem. If you literally can't attend because no-one is allowed in the ground then it's a different story.

Offering a stream, free or not, is not recompense.

As we only have 4 home games left, if anything is offered it will be small and in my eyes pointless sending me anything at all.
