Olympiacos FC (A) 12/03/20 - Following Nuno, Drinking The Ouzo

Well (ignoring the current situation) given that if you sell it back to the club they only offer half value of a single game (& that in ticket cash so you can only reuse it back with them) then I don't expect much back if that happens.

Completely different though surely.

To be honest that rules a load of bollocks should at least be 100% (of pro rata cost ie so the club still make extra £ on the ticket).

As we only have 4 home games left, if anything is offered it will be small and in my eyes pointless sending me anything at all.

Still be £80 plus won't it?

I'd imagine £80 is still a decent amount of money to many people, especially when plenty of Wolves fans may also be facing the prospect of time off work on the joke SSP etc.

To be honest I dont know what it is.

I will look later at what it would have cost me as a walk up each game in my seat v what my ST cost.

If 15x £whatever = roughly what I paid then I am not fussed about money back. This is my own personal stance though, I appreciate others will look at this differently and that is fair.

I will say I would expect the club to do something. If LD was still here I would be 100% confident in that happening..

Apparently Greek TV are showing this for free on YouTube. I hope our TV companies do the same for any behind closed doors games

That's fine for Prem teams but lower league teams will be destroyed if they have to refund.

If we do the behind closed door options and Wolves decide to refund I would they just discounted that amount from next years ticket (or make that 1 of a couple of options)

I don't see why anyone should 'have to' refund. The virus isn't their fault. It's not like they've made a decision. No STH will have lost any money if they can't attend a league game. It's already spent.

Its already spent on a ticket for 19 games of the season. If they're not given the option to attend 4 of those games of course they should be refunded!

Almost everything is paid in advance so not sure where the 'money already spent' argument comes from. Say you buy a sandwich from the shop....but as you walk out they take it off you and say sorry you can't eat that sandwich but we're not giving you a refund and you shouldn't be bothered as you've already spent the money!

Crazy post.

If the remaining 4 games are played behind closed doors I would expect recompense for what I paid for them which I calculate as £114.52. Rather than refund me directly I'd be happy for it to be deducted from next season's ST

It's £108 pro rata in the NB

Personally got mine as if its off Wolves will refund quick enough I'd guess.
I've not yet had a refund for tonight's match although had an email confirming I will be refunded.

Suppose you die halfway through the season. Does the club have to refund your estate because you can't go?

When did you get the email? Normally take 3-5 days for it to appear back in your account

Not quite sure where you are going with this, but it’s an odd argument to make.

Lower league clubs might be wise to offer refunds as they'll be somewhat obliged to do but tug on the heart strings and ask supporters if they could "donate" it. Demonstrate how those donations would be used to ensure the running of the club.

I do think for teams like us though we will almost inevitably face a price rise (again) if the club are required to issue refunds.

We shouldn't have to raise prices as the club reported healthy profits last season and I see no reason why this should change for this season. In the grand scheme of things gate money is a small part of income and therefore the club won't really be suffering from a drop in it when there are only a few games left.

As Tony intimated at earlier if they really believe that this is One Pack then the next few weeks will be the time to prove it.

given the one pack material coming from the club, i really think that the club will do something for anyone incurring a loss.

edit - skim reading means I missed that at least 2 people already made this point - apologies

You're preaching. I know all that, but this is the premier League and we are custo...fans.
