Olympiacos FC (A) 12/03/20 - Following Nuno, Drinking The Ouzo

It’s a red. He might not score himself but he can square it to the unmarked Raul for a tap in.

I’d be spitting feathers if that was given against us. Still, we take it.

Why? Last man and about as cynical as it gets. Not a dangerous tackle, but he’s denied a clear scoring opportunity, so red is the only option.

Game changer - Jota was as cute as he can be, but last man then don't take the attacker out.

geez you guys are 3-4 minutes ahead of me

great to see him red carded, was looking pretty good so far

You just see a challenge and have an immediate sense it’s a solid yellow card. That was my view at the time. Would have to see it again! He’s out wide and his touch was taking him wider?

He took him out just before the area, where it would be penalty and yellow (unless he didn't go clearly for the ball). So it's super cynical.

he was still in a position to shoot, not like he was out by the flag

if he wasn't the last man, certainly a yellow

There player just literally pushed Traore over and it wasn’t even a free kick

Adama gets kicked and pushed off the ball: nothing.
Coady goes in for a marginally late head on challenge: yellow...

We need to do more here. Force the issue. Problem is, we’re not very good at doing that. Difficult to stick to the “hit them on the break” game plan when they’ve just bunged every player behind the ball.

Traore having a stinker so far. Should have been stronger in that challenge

Coady's was a yellow - got sold with a bad pass.

Then again Traore was fould before that

unless there's more effort from wolves here i would look at neto and podence on second half, traore is already loosing his rag a fair bit with the ref.

We made a couple of decent passes and got their guy sent off. Everything else is utter dross. We know if we just put any sort of passage of play together we’ll score. But the bits in between are horrific
