Back on our travels tonight. Our recent record against Huddersfield is not great. So that needs addressing.

Harsh on Iorfa, who has been fantastic. If KJ is set on playing Doherty, I'd rather see him at left back with young Dom at right back. Out of him and Hause, Iorfa seems to have adapted to fullback slightly better.

I really can't understand what more iorfa could have done to cement his place. Very disappointing for him. Up to Doherty to deliver e performance worthy of the trust shown by KJ.

This is where KJ needs to explain himself. "He gives more going forward." Whatever the reason is: that at least is an attempt to keep the fans onside.

But everyone knows that he doesn't. Iorfa has looked impressive going forward the few times i've seen him, i don't understand why he's not in the team. Also if Afobe is going to play in the hole we need another striker.

Iorfa doesn't really give any less going forward than Doherty anyway now he has settled in, let alone thinking about the defensive side of his game. Disappointed with that decision.

If Dicko & Afobe are playing - what formation are we going with this time?

It is a mystery. I can only assume it is giving a kid a rest away from the limelight to protect him, but this could be to the detriment of the team. Let's hope matt has a stonking game though. Fingers crossed.

I'm starting to believe that Iorfa and Golbourne are being rested owing to injuries. Perhaps muscle injuries or similar.
KJ is hardly going to come out in the press announcing that we're carrying a fair few injuries is he?

I'm hoping that Dicko is over his apparent injuries of the past 3 months.

Thats my take on it, kind of. Its all about protecting him. He had been subbed a couple of times so maybe they felt his levels were dropping so rather than leave him in and watch him slip into poor form they take him out of the firing line for a short while. Short term to cover the long term. Not to different to how Rodgers has dealt with Sterling.
