The Definitive TWF UK & Ireland XI (1970 - present) - ST VOTING OPEN

Rooney did it at Euro 2004 tbf.

Lineker was as bad at Euro 88 as Rooney has been in any tournament. Shite at Euro 92 as well.

Lineker had hepatitis at the 88 tournament, its slightly harsh to judge him on his performance there.

UK/Ire manager:

Alex Ferguson
Bobby Robson
Martin O'Neill

World XI manager:

Jose Mourinho
Carlo Ancelotti
Ottmar Hitzfeld

I'll abstain on the other question as it's up to you lot.

Difficult to agree with Ferguson with such limited international experience. However I will go with

Stein managed Celtic and Scotland and won 7 on the bounce with the bouys
Venables. Euro 96 semi finalist, Barcelona manager and great for the time.
Jack Charlton. Over performed with Middlesbrough's team and Eire

World 11

Ferguson UK
Mourinho EU
Scolari as you can't argue with his record

You mean European cup winning euro 96 semi finalist Venables who won nothing yet achieved those two thingfw that no english manager has achieved... ... I think lol !

When did Venables win the European Cup?

He won two games and one penalty shootout (when we got battered in the actual match) at Euro 96. Big wow. If England had beaten Italy on penalties at Euro 2012 then Roy Hodgson would have matched that, I don't see him getting in the Hall of Fame.
