I think this is a decent Eurovision year! I wasn't sure when I first heard some of these a few weeks back but they've all improved a lot

So judging from the way the public voting works we need to get Reform in power and then butcher a load of innocent civilians every week and 300 points are ours?

Massive sigh of relief from the organisers there. There'd have a been a huge boycott if it was in Israel next year.

It's definitely what the world thinks of us, zero two years running.

Conversely though, Israel are much loved.

Being more serious in relation to our song. I don't think it was particularly good and the sound seemed slightly off compared to previous performances on the night. Rather like Switzerland's it certainly didn't deserve 0 points from the public though.
 
Problem is when you have a public vote it often comes down to a popularity contest.
Look I think Europe historically likes the music that comes from these shores but just doesn’t like it when it has to vote for it in a tangible competition.
 
Comes to something that the uk finishes 17 places behind a genocidal regime.
We’ll need to up our killing kids, journalists, hospital staff and bomb more schools and hospitals to stand a better chance next year.
Seriously how the fuck has that happened, has Israel got a load of those memory erasers from men in black or something? World obviously doesn’t care about widespread killing of a civilian population
 
UK did deserve zero points. It was rubbish in the preview semi finals, but did improve today a bit. That said, some of the other voting remains way off and very random. I generally thought the contest was really good this year otherwise though. Israel and Greece massively overscored though.

Don't think it deserved zero ((neither did Switzerland) the performance was good. The song just wasn't up to it though, it's like the writers haven't paid attention to what has gone before. It was disjointed and 'bitty', never gunna please a Eurovision audience.

Its the Eurovision Song Contest, not the Eurovision Government Approval Contest.
